Photo-sharing widget app
Locket Widget is a social and communication app that shares live photos from your close friends right to your Home Screen. It's designed for spontaneous, intimate sharing, letting you and your friends see new pictures every time you unlock your phone, which gives you a little glimpse into their day.
A new way to personalize your photo messages
Locket Widget is straightforward: add the Locket widget, and photos sent by friends instantly appear. To share back, simply tap the widget, take a picture, and send it. It keeps things intimate by limiting your overall friend connections count to 20. Additionally, you can send private emoji reactions to photos.
The Android version is buggy; widgets aren’t updating with new photos, or inconsistent notifications. The mini video feature available on iOS doesn’t exist on Android, which can leave you feeling a bit left out. Other issues include undefined friends in your list, lag when taking pictures, and slow loading times.
Great, but needs more improvement on other platforms
Despite some Android-specific bugs like widget update issues and missing video features, Locket Widget offers an intimate way to connect with close friends. Its spontaneous photo-sharing concept is genuinely appealing. If the developers continue to refine the Android experience, this has the potential to be a beloved tool for staying close.
